but this time only half of the beam is analyzed, taking advantage of symmetry.
Plots of Bending Moment, Shear Force and Elastic Curve. The solution y(x) for the
deformation was obtained by the method of double integration of the beam's
elastic Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE). A girl named Leslie solved this problem...
(A beam with uniformly distributed load and support). MS Excel is used
to solve this textbook problem.
